Practical info

All you need to know to attend this year’s festival. Get your list prepared, grab a glass, and enjoy the selection that What’s Brewing 2019 has to offer – we bring the world to you!

Wristbands

Wednesday October 16th it will possible to exchange your festival ticket for a wristband in Maskinhallen at Tou Scene. The ticket office will be open from 14.00 PM – 18.00 PM. You will save yourselves a lot of queuing on the days of the festival by using this opportunity. You may also purchase tokens at the ticket office on this day.

Pick up for a friend?

Yes you can! On Wednesday you can pick up the wristband and the glass for your friend. Remember to bring your friends’ ticket and show it to one of our friendly crew members.

Attending Brewcon

We love showcasing the people behind the beer, and all the related technical talks, but realised it clashed with relatively short serving sessions during the festival days. So we’ve been working very hard to bring you a special pre-What’s Brewing event on Thursday Oct 17 – welcome to Brewcon 2019!

Where: Tou Scene, Kvitsøygata 25

When: Oct 17, 14:00-22:00

Entry to the Brewcon event is 150kr, and tickets can be purchased here or they can be purchased at the door.

Wardrobe services

The wardrobe is located on the 3rd floor. The price is 1 token per article of clothing.

At arrival

The festival ticket can be exchanged for a wristband granting access to the festival, a tasting glass, and a festival guide. Replacement glasses will be available for purchase at one of the bars. You will find important festival information in the guide (location of the breweries, maps, toilet information, etc.).

How to get here

Tou Scene is located east in the city of Stavanger – here is a link to Google maps. There’s strictly no parking at Tou Scene. Bus No. 4 stops nearby – check out Kolumbus for info. A temporary stop for taxis will be established close to the venue.

Buying bongs

Serving size is 10cL and will cost one token. The price per token is 25NOK, which is ridiculously cheap for the world’s best beer being served, and will be available for purchase with cash or credit card at the regular bars on the 1st floor, the 3rd floor, the Loft (5th floor), and in the beer halls.

NO TOKENS ARE INCLUDED WITH THE FESTIVAL TICKET.

Use the tokens at all What’s Brewing bars operated by the breweries.
