COUNTRY: Denmark

Let’s get this straight – We are what’s called a gypsy brewery (or Pyrate/Nomad/Contract/Gold Digger Brewery). This means that we don’t own our own brewing equipment, but brew at others instead. We do this because we think it is the absolute best way to ensure the highest quality, the widest variety and continually being able to reinvent ourself and the beers we brew. We are gypsies and we are proud of it. So in short: If you want to visit our brewery, then it is not because we are unpolite snobs that we say no.

The Boss

This specific IPA is a definite house favorite at the BRUS brewery. Now, for the first time ever, it’s in a can! The Boss is a 6.8% DDH IPA with Citra, Amarillo, and Simcoe, and it’s packed to the brim with flavor.

Farmhouse Ale - Saison

Sassy Sauce

For this beer, our friends from Cigar City came to Copenhagen to brew this elegant saison. Sassy Sauce is brewed with pilsner, oats and wheat in classic saison style, and fermented with a Belgian saison yeast. We incorporated some slightly newer techniques, where we used Citra in a low temperature whirlpool and then Hallertau Blanc in the dry-hop. This saison is dry and easy to drink, but surprisingly complex, with notes of white wine from the dry-hop and lovely fruity aromas from the Belgian yeast.

Good Company

Good Company is part of our series to bring you the best of the West coast and the East coast. This beer features the bitterness and drinkability of a west coast, while having the mouthfeel and intense hop aroma of an east coast. Hot side sees Citra and Amarillo in the whirlpool, and we used Simcoe in the dry-hop. Best enjoyed in Good Company.
